Overview
The goal of this project was to design one book jacket and two book covers based on a poem by one of our favorite poets. The poem I chose was 'Monsters I've Met' by Shel Silverstein. As a child I loved all of the poetry collections by Silverstein, and while his collections are mainly targeted toward children, I feel that people of all ages are able to enjoy his work. Hence, I aimed to create various cover designs that could target both young and old.
