Overview
Chantilly Governor's STEM Academy is a Fairfax Country Public School program that provides students with academic and career preparation courses for successful post-secondary education and to gain transferable skills in various career fields. Their dental careers program introduces students to careers in dental health sciences and allows students to learn clinical skills needed to perform as a dental assistant.
After completing the two-year dental careers program in 2019, I volunteered to create a new mural for the classroom's entrance. I enjoyed and appreciated every single moment during my time the course, so my goal for the mural design was to create a bright, clean, and welcoming entrance that would engage and encourage students to take advantage of the wonderful program they are able to participate in.
