Overview
Gill Sans is a humanist sans-serif typeface that was created in 1928 by Eric Gill. It was later revitalized in 2015 by George Ryan and is now known as Gill Sans Nova.
The goal of this project was to create a type specimen booklet to introduce the typeface and demonstrate its capabilities. The booklet design is heavily inspired by the flag of the United Kingdom, the country which the original designer, Eric Gill, hails from. My intention for this project was to convey the versatility the Gill Sans Nova typeface can provide.
